Crock Pot Mac & Cheese

Co-op Gold Featured Item:  Co-op GOLD CHEDDAR cHEESE

Prep time:      5 minutes
Cook time:     5 to 6 Hours

Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces of Macaroni, cooked & drained
  • 1 (12 oz) can of Evaporated Milk
  • 1 1/2 Cups of Milk
  • 2 Eggs
  • 4 Cups Shredded Co-op Gold Cheddar Cheese, divided
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh Black Pepper

 

Directions:

  • Place the cooked macaroni in a slow cooker that has been coated with non-stick vegetable spray.
  • Add the evaporated milk, regular milk, eggs & 3 cups of the cheddar cheese.  Mix well.
  • Sprinkle with remaining 1 cup of cheddar cheese.  Cover & cook on low setting for 5 to 6 hours or until the mixture is firm & golden around edges.
  • Do not remove the cover or stir until the macaroni has finished cooking.


Serves a hungry family of 4 easily!
